Learn more about the most known-Renaissance-built castles such as Chambord, Chenonceau or Cheverny! Famous thanks to the double revolution staircase, Chambord was built in 1519, during the reign of François I, and is the last masterpiece of Leonardo Da Vinci. However, the construction work was only finished at the end of the 16th century. Its influence is strong enough to be the first building registered as monument historique, national heritage sites in 1881. Go then to Chenonceau and his impressive castle over the Cher river. With its very rich history, Chenonceau will be able to amazed you more than what you can imagine. From the Renaissance until the Great War, you also understand the nickname of Chenonceau, “The Ladies’ Castle”. Finish your day at Cheverny castle which has belonged to the same family for over 600 years! Don’t miss the 6-thematic gardens and the kennel with a hundred dogs.
